This is the part where I confess to being mortified, hang my head, and say mea maxima culpa in abject tones.  I've had the Kindle versions of Black Shapes in a Darkened Room and The Concrete Sky redone.  They were among the first few e-books we did, and I didn't quite know what I was doing yet, basically.  Neither of the Kindle versions had a proper table of contents.  For Black Shapes, a short story collection, that's kind of a deal-breaker.  There have been a few returns on Amazon, and eventually the light bulb came on.  I took another look at the file and had my oh-shit moment.  The files are fine now: I've had proper tables of contents put in.  (The ePubs were okay all along.)

If you have purchased either book and would like the updated file(s), please e-mail me via my website and I will send them at no charge.  The same goes for anyone who bought one on Amazon and returned it.  Seriously.  E-mail me and I'll send the updated files.  This should not have happened, but I didn't know two years ago what I do now.  (I had also seen a lot of not-so-great e-books, so the standards weren't exactly high.  I've become a lot more demanding since then.)  Please accept my apologies and don't hesitate to take me up on this offer.
